Richard is a fourth generation ‘Cooper’ and has worked day to day in the business for over 25 years. Whilst maintaining a key relationship role with a number of customers Richard is particularly focused on the strategic long term direction of the company and ensuring the resources and skills are in place to support the next stage in the evolution of the company.

With over 30 years experience in the transport and haulage sector in various management roles, there is nothing Anthony doesn’t know. With a focus on compliance, driver training, recruitment and with responsibility for our FORS accreditation Anthony ensures operations are carried out to the highest possible safety standards. Anthony is also one of the named transport CPC holders for the company and an accredited FORS Practitioner.

Damian has been with S Coopers now for over 20 years progressing from driver to the traffic office, traffic office manager and now a director of the business. Damian’s focus is on customer service and ensuring we continue to meet our own high standards. He also has a key role ensuring the operational efficiency of the business including vehicle utilisation, fuel management and transhipping.

With previous roles in numerous industries including manufacturing, construction and plant hire Matt joined S Cooper & Son at the start of 2011. Matt has responsibility for maintaining and improving the company’s finance and information systems and providing management information to support the commercial decisions within the business. He also has responsibility for the company’s insurance programme and claims. Matt is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Dave is the longest serving member of staff at S Cooper & Sons having started as an apprentice at the grand old age of 16. He now has responsibility for ensuring the vehicle and trailer fleet is maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition. Dave also has responsibility for maintenance of the site and is one of the named transport CPC holders for the company.

With over 15 years in the haulage industry Paul is an experienced traffic office operator both junior and management roles. Paul now has responsibility for responsibility for maintaining customer service levels, driver management and compliance. Paul is also the holder of both the transport National and International CPC.

Gareth joined the company in 2013 having worked in busy warehouse and despatch operations for many years. This experience has proved invaluable when dealing with the numerous challenges faced on a daily basis as operations have grown in both volume and complexity.

Since joining S Coopers shortly after our move to our Winsford premises Lee has progressed through various workshop roles and is now responsible for vehicle inspections and maintenance ensuring both timeliness of servicing and managing both labour and parts availability to reduce vehicle downtime.
