General Notes

Please ensure you provide to following for all delivery requirements:

  • Full postal address of the delivery location
  • Number of pallets and total weight of the consignment
  • Service level required – next day, economy or time specific
  • Other relevant information – restricted access, tail lift, vehicle mounted FLT
  • Purchase order or delivery reference
Presentation of Goods for Road Transport
  • Goods should be placed onto a good quality wooden pallet
  • Goods should be secured onto the pallet appropriately – banded, stretch wrap
  • Each pallet should also contain a clear address label for ease of identification
  • Goods should not overhang the side of the pallet
Claims

Claims for loss or damage of goods must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery. Delivery notes should be clause at the time of delivery in order to support a valid claim simply signing ‘unchecked’ is not acceptable. All claims will be dealt with under the terms of RHA Conditions of Carriage and UKWA Conditions of Storage.
