Safety is key when operating a fleet of 100 heavy goods vehicles and S Cooper & Sons are proud to be a member of the Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme a three-stage European accreditation programme promoting best practice across the European fleet industry for safety, efficiency and environmental protection.
This ensures that all our business operations are safer, smarter and greener by improving our vehicles, drivers, management and operations.
In November 2016 we successfully obtained the Silver standard accreditation part of which included all drivers completing a ‘Safe Urban Driving’ course with an emphasis on vulnerable road users. An element of this course included our drivers cycling around the local roads around our Winsford depot. Certainly a sight to behold!
